Roots

I want to express my gratitude to all of the people, living beings, and organizations who support and nurture my work.

The people mentioned below have given me the gifts of their time, perspectives, edits, wisdom, and knowledge. They have cheered me on whenever I doubted my abilities to bring this project to life.

You have all nourished the roots of Living Earth Sex Ed and I am grateful for each one of you.

Lands, Waterways, and Skies

My work takes place in and amongst the ancestral lands, waterways, and skies of the Coast Salish peoples which include the Duwamish, Suquamish, Muckleshoot, and Stillaguamish.

I pay my respects to Coast Salish elders, past, present and future, who steward this place. My work is informed by their enduring connection to this place and I am committed to building relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples based on respect and reciprocity.

I am a non-Indigenous person who is in an emerging process of learning how to fulfill my responsibilities to the lands, waterways, skies, and peoples who live in the Salish Sea.
